Qualitative research showed that many users of banking apps use their app in combination with other tools, such as Excel, before making buying decisions.

Underlying need: the current balance of an account doesn’t show the coming expenses. This creates uncertainty for users.

Solution

The “free-to-spend” is a feature that shows not only the current account balance, but the resulting balance after the scheduled expenses.
